Zimbali Golf Course

This five-star, 18-hole golf course opened in November 1998 and is designed by Tom Weiskopf, a former British and South African champion.

Regarding the golf course, he had this to say: “The character of the property is one that I’d describe as having an abundance of natural features which include constant changes in elevation, a combination of mature indigenous trees and vegetation and some beautiful wetland areas with natural streams and ponds, all creating a dramatic and beautiful setting.”

The Zimbali Country Club offers irresistible ocean and forest views, exceptional water and wetland features, and an inspiring natural setting, which has helped develop its reputation of being a memorable course with charisma and challenge.

The Club House is designed around an African classical theme with extensive use of hand-crafted decor, fittings, and furnishings.

The raised decks provide unparalleled elevated golf course and sea views and trees that grow through the decking leading down to the 18th green. Flawless service, superb catering, a well-appointed Golf Shop, and plush cloakrooms enhance the venue even further.

This course takes you over undulating hills until you explore the indigenous coastal forest.
