Established in 1904, Stellenbosch is the fourth oldest golf club in South Africa. It is framed by the Helderberg and Simonsberg mountains and the course winds through the vineyards offering breathtaking vistas around many holes. It is characterised by narrow, tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers and water features. It is ranked 60th of the top 100 courses. It has hosted some of South Africa’s most prestigious golf tournaments, including the 1999 South African Open and five South African Masters tournaments.
