Skukuza Golf Course

Come play on the wildest course in the world!

The world-famous Kruger National Park is home to the stunning 9-hole (18-tee) Skukuza Golf Club, which is located outside the Skukuza rest camp. The Big Five, a vast array of birds, and many animals can be found in the magnificent wildlife refuge that surrounds the golf course. These creatures all conspire to give our guests a peaceful, up-close golfing experience.

The opening holes play around Lake Panic, a significant feature whose waters are home to crocodiles and hippos. Fish eagles perch on the limbs of skeletal dead trees and wander the skies. It is common for golfers when they tee up on the first hole along the water’s edge, to frequently notice submerged hippo observing their swing.

Since the course is not fenced-in, uninvited spectators are a common sight, impala, warthog and baboons to mention but a few. Skukuza is ranked in the 64th position of top 100 in South Africa.
