Jack Nicklaus was excited when he spoke about the new St Francis Links golf course at their Grand Opening just one short year ago. He had just come off the course after his final inspection. 800 members and guests filled the Verandah in the spacious new Clubhouse. What came out of his mouth gave everyone ‘goose flesh’!

The historic Royal Port Alfred Golf Club was constituted in 1907. Situated in Port Alfred on the South East coast - SUNSHINE COAST - of the Eastern Cape half way between the Ports of East London and Port Elizabeth.

The Port Elizabeth Golf Course was founded in 1890 , and was originally situated in the North End Flats , on the Western side of the Uitenhage road. The layout was strange by then but later redone and redeveloped to a proper golf course and now one of the most spectacular parkland`s layout courses in Port Elizabeth.
